How to manage user in Google analytics
Google analytics gives you the liberty to add more than one user. One user can overall manage the data, one user can analyze the data and others can perform other specific data. Or everyone can perform the entire task related to analyzing, managing and reporting of data. Another purpose of making multiple users is because you can multiple websites in your account so different persons can handle the different account. So let us learn how to manage user in Google Analytics.
For adding a new user you should follow the following steps
In the bottom left-hand corner, you will find a button “admin”. When you have clicked on that button a new page will open. In the new page, you will get the following option
- Create account
- Create property
- Create view
In creating an account you will find an option “user management”. By clicking on “user management” a new dialogue box will open. In the top right-hand corner side, you will see blue color “plus” sign. When putting the cursor on this plus sign you will get an option to add a new user. So in this way, a new user will be created. In this way, the new user will have access to the entire feature same as admin.
But if you want the new user can only view the data and not manage then in “create view” option you will find the same option “user management”. Following the same procedure as described above you will create a new user who can only view the data.
